Sylmar Introduces 9 New Colours from Avonite Surfaces®.

Our nine new colours were developed after an in-depth design process. Color developers combined insight from the Color Marketing Group with findings from an extensive ‘Voice of the Customer’ study of leading architects and designers to provide a common direction for new colour development.

The additions are led by two new recycled products, Crater and Summer, extending our industry leading recycled offering to 8 stunning decors. Crater brings a black base with an array of large accents of yellow, grey, red, and brown. Summer pulls the green of cedar with liberal flecks of black, grey, and clear hues. Development in this area reflects Avonite Surfaces® continued commitment towards sustainable manufacturing and design.

The Glass Series, a stunning collection of translucent glass effect solid surface decors has seen the addition of the spectacular Amber Glass, to complement the already popular collection. The Glass Series' contemporary style and versatility make it a popular choice for modern hotels, restaurants, bars and retail displays, where practicality and good looks are equally important. Now available in a range of six stunning colours the Glass Series lends itself to being back-lit, creating a wealth of design possibilities and a spectacular focal point for commercial, leisure and retail applications.

Three new Metallics products stretch the Studio Collection™ palette into new design territory and will be welcome introductions for cutting-edge designers. Pulling from the growing impact of Far East and Indian design preferences, Martian Sunset and Cosmic Penny bring a garnet and copper tone respectively to the Metallics line. These two products are forecast to be two of the hottest commercial products in the collection, with a wide array of applications particularly in the Hospitality and Restaurant markets. The most captivating new product has to be Silver Comet. Through a combination of sapphire and clear particulate in an argent-grey foundation, Silver Comet is simply stunning.

Three Foundations™ products complete the offering. Spanish Moss brings a hint of a windswept beach, Tuscan Gold draws inspiration from the spectacular Tuscan sunrises and Coastal Green brings a deep bamboo-olive hybrid to the Foundations™ line.
